Mike & Allison - The Thursday Club

This reception was in high gear from the start. Mike & Allison's first dance was choreographed to a custom mix of "Ring of Fire" by Social Distortion, they nailed it! Other hits were "Forever" by Chris Brown and "Groove is in the heart" by De-lite. Entertainment at Large handled the lighting and Continental Catering did an amazing job with the food. Laura Rizzo coordinated making for a smooth night and the talented Dennis Mock was the photographer. The florals by Ana of Floralworks were beautiful. Congrats to the newlyweds, they enjoyed the celebration to the fullest!!

Travis & Ashly - Private Estate

What a blast this reception was. Ashley is a coordinator with Coronado Weddings and easy to work with, her primary goal for the day was to get married and have fun! The ceremony featured an appearance by Mario of The Three Waiters and the couples first dance was "Crazy Love" by Van Morrison. Other hits were "Stir it up" by Bob Marley and "I've got a feeling" by the Black Eyed Peas. Entertainment At Large did the lighting plan and the food hit of the night was an Ice Cream bar featuring Maggie Moos Ice Cream, it is too die for!!

Raul & Lisa - The Thursday Club

In my opinion for most weddings at the Thursday Club the best place for the dance floor is centered as opposed to putting it in front of the stage. It definitely makes for a more intimate setting. Raul and Lisa were a pleasure to work with and it was a great event. The first dance was "I don't want to miss a thing" by Aerosmith and the hit of the night was "Living on a prayer" by Bon Jovi.

Doug & Carlee - The Catamaran Resort

A custom first dance starting with "Everything" by Michael Buble and then a tight mix into "Touch Me" by the Doors had the crowd screaming from the start. Brant Bender was the photographer and the Catamaran was the location...two of my favorites. Doug and Carlee were on the dance floor the whole night!!

Blake & Kelly - Azul La Jolla

Love Kelly and Blake...Kelly works with Behind the Scenes Catering and Blake is a chef with the Brigantine. Throw in a bunch of guests with Irish heritage and its going to be a party. We even had a bagpiper! First dance was "Forever" by Ben Harper and vintage hit of the night was "Cecelia."

Heidi of Heidi Photo got some great images of the fun and Lisa Gossmann coordinated making for a smooth night!

I love the tent at the Coronado Marriott, it is one of the best reception sites around. The first dance was "My Best Friend" by Tim McGraw and the wedding was a blast!!

The Cruise

I just got back from a 15 day vacation in the Mediterranean and haven't had time to add any comments to the weddings below. They were all great fun and I hope to have a chance to add some. Stay tuned for photos from the cruise...what a trip!
