A Trifecta - 3 Awesome Weddings, One Great Weekend!

This was a great weekend, 3 awesome couples that came to have fun on their wedding day and a lot of family and friends with the same idea in mind. It started at the La Valencia with Raymond and Jenna Domingo. All three weddings featured non stop dancing and lots of fun, Ray and Jenna had a video montage as a special surprise for the guests...everybody loved it!

On Saturday it was off to Orfila Winery to celebrate with Beau and Kristina Crosetto. It was a gorgeous day at the winery, not to hot with a nice breeze. What a party, both families bonded like they'd known each other for years. The first dance was "True Companion" and we ended the night with a killer sparkler send off for the bride and groom. A large majority of the guests came on a party bus that took them back to the Catamaran to continue the fun!

I ended the weekend back at the La Valencia with Ben and Elizabeth Wilson and what a way to finish. Both families were from Ohio and loved Rock and Roll...it was a night of classic rock mixed in with a few oldies and a bit of 70's and 80's. Of course "Hang on Sloopy" was played as that song is a staple at any Ohio football game. The big hit of the night was "Ain't nothing but a good time" by Def Leppard. Your not seeing double...the maid of honor was Elizabeth's twin sister!

Hey Mike,

Thank you so much for all that you did to make our wedding SO special.
You were such an amazing DJ and I appreciate you and your work to
make our day so wonderful. My friends and family can't stop talking
about you! (I even think that one of my bridesmaids wants to use you
for her wedding so hopefully I will see you again around december :)

Thank you again and may God continue to bless you in all you do.

Love,
Kristina (and Beau)

Dear Mike,

Thank you for getting our Grandparents to dance! What can I say, you're simply the best...I think we had everyone on the dance floor & you worked in some of our favorite music. Thanks for making our day so special!

All the best,

Elizabeth & Ben

High Energy with Young Life Atlanta!

This was my sixth year providing the music for the Young Life Atlanta West Coast Road trip and
again they amazed me. I typically don't do kids events, school dances, barmitzvahs etc... but this group is always one of my favorites. They dance for a solid 3 hours to everything from Country to Rock, Swing to Hip Hop, Disco to Mowtown and they are going 110% the whole time. We were on the WD Evans again this year and it's a great venue for the event, we wrap up the night with the Sea World fire works show and the last song of the evening is traditionally "On the Road Again" by Willie Nelson and then back to the bus they go!

Babies!

I walked out on the patio this morning and heard a little commotion, I looked up and discovered I had new neighbor's nestled above the patio overhang!

Nick and Lindsay - Party at the Prado!

It was a perfect San Diego day for a wedding and the Prado is one of the most beautiful places in town for a ceremony and reception. The garden ceremony was great and a small but mighty grouped rocked the Loggia room for the reception. The first dance was "At Last" by Etta James and Lindsay danced with her dad to "My Little Girl" by Tim McGraw...it's a great song for the father/daughter dance. The Prado staff did a wonderful job as always and Darrin Fong was the photographer, he does some amazing work.

Dustyn & Kristan Borghi get married in Paradise!

The couple chose Paradise Gardens as the location for their celebration. The bride arrived for the ceremony in a beautiful carriage pulled by an amazing Clydesdale Horse, she looked stunning and what a great way to start the day. They both have big families and lots of friends so it was a full house for the reception. It was a high energy group that came to have fun and that we did...the newlyweds were off to Hawaii for the honeymoon!

Hi DJ Mike!

We just received your card and pictures - THANK YOU SO MUCH!! They are great pictures!! You did an incredible job at our wedding - we have received so many compliments about the music and flow of the wedding. Dustyn and I are so happy that our wedding turned out so well - better than we could ever imagine! Everyone had a blast and I'm sure everyone danced - I know we sure did!!

Thank you so much again - we are definitely recommending you to all our friends!

Tina and Andy Tie the Knot...what a party!

The thing I love about my job is that I get to be a part of the fun! Andy and Tina's main goal for their wedding was to make sure everyone had a blast and I am happy to report "Mission Accomplished!" They had a beautiful ceremony on 4th floor terrace at the San Diego Marriott and then down to the Sea View room for the reception. A couple of fun twists for the night..the newlyweds toasted with Rumplemints and Tina had a turbo fan set up under the Sweetheart table to keep her nice and cool.

Hi Mike! Thanks for being an awesome DJ at our wedding. We are back from our honeymoon and getting settled in. Best Wishes, Tina & Andy

Monica and Jim, Together Forever!

Monica is from Columbia and Jim grew up in Columbus (Ohio) so friends came from near and far for the celebration. The first dance was "I can only imagine" by a Christian group named Mercy Me, it is a beautiful song and was perfect for the newlyweds. For dancing we went from Salsa & Merengue to Old School & Disco, the floor stayed full the whole night and both Jim and Monica were in the middle for most of it! If you are looking for a great property to host your reception I give two thumbs up to the Sheraton...they always do a fantastic job. (they also have an awesome new ceremony site)
