James & Kimberly - The Oceanview Club

It had been awhile since I did a reception at the Oceanview Club and I'd almost forgotten how beautiful the setting is. It is located on the Submarine Base at the end of Point Loma and has a view to die for. The shot above is of the Coronado Bridge. Favorite moment... Kimberly's mom Sandy leading the Conga line and the hit of the night was "Don't Stop Believing" by Journey. The newlyweds had a blast and we had a full dance floor all night!

Derek & Kirsten - Paradise Point Resort

If you are looking for a great room for a small reception check out the Dockside Room at Paradise Point Resort. It's just right for 75-80 guests and I thought the color scheme that Kirsten choose fit it perfectly! Favorite moments..."ABC" was the song played for the recessional (Both are teachers), Kirsten's grandfathers toast was amazing and the 1st dance was "Better Together" by Jack Johnson. A great couple and a fun reception!!

Dads and Daughters!

I don't typically do a lot of children's events but I couldn't say no to this one. It was a Father - Daughter dance for some military kids and their dads...they were too cute and it was a blast!!

Jake & Nikki - The Rancho Bernardo Inn

Jake and Nikki were a blast to work with and Nikki's mom Madeline was one of the most fun Mother of the Bride's I've ever met. She wanted to make sure it was a wedding to remember and that it was. The Bernardo Ballroom looked amazing with flowers by Haydees Creative Flowers and Entertainment At Large doing the lighting. Brant Bender Photography was on site to handle the photos and Nathan Prince came up from Orange County to video. Both are pros! The food and service at the Rancho Bernardo Inn was outstanding as always.

Dan & Bridgette - The Hyatt Regency Mission Bay

What a night and what a party! We started off with a beautiful ceremony on Sunset Cliffs in Point Loma and then off to the newly remodeled Hyatt Regency Mission Bay for cocktails and dancing. Dan and Bridgette met at a Queensryche concert so we had to play one of their hits, the crowd went crazy! The reception was coordinated by Marjeri and Jessica with Events by Design and Kristina from San Diego Wedding Candids took care of the photography. Both are pros and great to work with. I did a wave pattern gobo wash of the ceiling and accented it with some up lighting and the room looked amazing. Dan and Bridgette were a lot of fun and I wish them all the best!

Everyone had a blast! Especially the Queensryche crowd when you played "Jet City Woman!" They can't stop talking about how fun it was. Thank you so much for a great wedding!~Bridgette
