Robert & Aaron - The Hotel Del Coronado

It doesn't get any better than the Hotel Del Coronado for a reception, it is a timeless classic! Aaron and Robert chose the Coronet Room for the reception and with Kathy Wright taking care of the florals it looked amazing. Kelly Aull from Mint Weddings did her usual outstanding job with the coordination and the newlyweds had a great night. The first dance was "Right Here" by Mark Wills and the hit of the night was 'Fire Burning" by Sean Kingston, sleeper hit of the night was "Summer of 69" by Bryan Adams.

You did an amazing Job and we can't thank you enough! The reception was perfect!!

David & Jami - Morgan Run Country Club

Another great couple and beautiful San Diego reception. David and Jami got married two weeks earlier in Maui but wanted to do a reception here. The event was on the patio at Morgan Run looking out over the golf course. It was a perfect night! The first dance was "When you say nothing at all" performed by a Hawaiian singer named Jamie Lawrence, a great rendition. Hit of the night was "September" and favorite moment was the ceremony video.

Pioneer Hi-Bred - MCAS Miramar

I don't usually post photos from my corporate events but I just loved a few of these shots. It was a great group and they really enjoyed their time with the Marines!

Clinton & Brittney - The Coronado Marriott

If you were to ask me where I'd get married in San Diego, the Pavilion at the Coronado Marriott would be in the top 3. It has an amazing view with a great staff and wonderful food! I knew this reception would be a blast as I had provided the music for Brittney's sisters wedding few years ago and they are a fun family. To add to the mix Clinton is from Australia and they know how to party! The couples first dance was "Then" by Brad Paisley and the hit of the night was anything 80's. We ended the reception with "Waltzing Matilda" for all the Aussie's in the house and it was the perfect finish...this reception was a solid 10! Kristina from San Diego Wedding Candids was the photographer and she is always great to work with.

Nino & Lindsey - The Hilton San Diego Resort

The Hilton San Diego Resort on Mission Bay is another favorite of mine. They just did a complete renovation of the property and it is amazing. Lindsay and Nino's ceremony was held out by the beach in the Gazebo and the reception was in the Mediterranean Ballroom. With the white chair covers and a little up lighting the room looked great. The couples first dance was "Can't help falling in love with you" by Darren Hayes and the hit of the night was "Apache" by the Sugarhill Gang. The guys went nuts! Darryn St. John was the photographer, he does great work and is a pleasure to work with. We had a full dance floor all night and the newlyweds had a blast!!

Thanks Mike for making our day so fun and memorable! We had a blast and it was all because you kept the party rockin!! You are awesome!-Lindsey and Nino

Clint and Kearylyn Stayton - The Wild Animal Park

I love the Wild Animal Park for a wedding and so do the guests. Clint and Kearylyn were one of the easiest going couples I've had all year so I knew they'd be able to relax and enjoy their celebration and that they did! Loved Keary's dress was amazing and I loved the themed cake...music hit of the day was "Respect" and you should have seen the brides 92 year old grandmother kick it up to "In the Mood". Best idea I've seen in awhile was picking a place card for a free year membership to the Zoo and Wild Animal Park!

Andrew & Sharon - The Prado at Balboa Park

Andrew and Sharon chose the Prado for their San Diego Celebration and that usually makes for a great night. You know the food and service will be excellent. Andrew is a former DJ in San Diego but he and Sharon now call Seattle home. There was a little added pressure on my end but not to worry it was a great crowd and they loved to dance so it made my life easy! They chose Kelly Aull of Mint Weddings to coordinate the event so that really makes for a great night...she is one of the best. Andrew and Sharon did a killer first dance to "Steady as We Go" by Dave Mathews Band and the F/D - M/S dance was "Unforgettable" by Nat and Natalie Cole. Big hits of the night were two of Andrews favorites, "Mr Jones" by the Counting Crows and to wrap up the night "Tripping Billies" from the Dave Matthews Band. The ceremony was flawless and the reception a blast so the Chinese symbol for Double Happiness (center of dance floor) had two meanings that night! Best wishes to Andrew and Sharon!!

Daniel & Julie Simon - Lomas Santa Fe Country Club

Daniel and Julie made a great choice booking Lomas Santa Fe C.C. for the site of their ceremony and reception. The food and view are great and it's reasonably priced as well. This was an awesome Sunday night wedding with dancing right up to 11 PM. The newlyweds first dance was "Just the Way You Are" by Billy Joel and the highlight of the night was the groom toss by his brothers and some friends...they sent him for a ride. Sleeper hit of the night was "Living on a Prayer" by Bon Jovi. Great couple and a fun reception!!

Thank you so much for being our DJ, even after Julie hit her head you managed to keep everyone dancing. Our guests had a fabulous time!! (Thanks for the great photos as well)

Philip & Candace - Museum of Contemporary Art La Jolla

What a blast this wedding was! Candace is a coordinator for the San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park and I was thrilled when she asked me to be the DJ for her wedding. She found a great guy in Philip and the group of friends and family that gathered to celebrate with them was amazing. The ceremony and reception were both held at the Museum of Contemporary Art. The room looked spendid with lighting by Entertainment at Large and a wonderful color scheme. The French Gourmet (always good) was on hand for the food service and I got to work with Courtney Tibbets for the first time. A good coordinator can make for an easy event. Chelsea Anne was the photographer and she is a joy to work with as well. The first dance was "Better Together" by Jack Johnson and my favorite highlight of the night was all the men serenading the bride to "You've lost that loving feeling"! The newlyweds headed to Costa Rica for the honeymoon...too much fun!

Paul & Mallonee - The Dana Resort

The Dana Inn on Mission Bay is a favorite of mine. Angie and her team do a great job, the food is amazing and yours will be the only event going on! I knew Paul and Mallonee's reception was going to be fun as I had done her sisters about 5 years earlier and that had been a blast. They did not disappoint me, non stop dancing from the start. My favorite moment was the first dance, Paul had put the music to pictures and we showed the video montage while the first dance was going on. Mallonee's dad picked a great song for the F/D dance called "Angel in My Arms" and the sleeper hit of the night was "Blue Monday" by New Order.
