Nicolas & Valerie - The Bahia Resort Hotel

Nick's mom is in the event business and I've had the pleasure of knowing her for a few years, I was thrilled when she asked me to be the DJ for Nick & Valerie's celebration. They are a great couple and I loved their taste in music, the first dance was "The Wedding Gift" by Rawlins Cross.
Both the ceremony and reception were held at The Bahia Resort, the new Ventana Room had a great view of the bay.
Photography by Lisa K handled the photos, the Cake was from Flour Power and Entertainment At Large provided the up lighting. The dance floor stayed crowed all night and some of the hits were California Gurls - Katy Perry, The Time - Black Eyed Peas, When Love is Gone - David Guetta and Beautiful World - ATB.
Nick's mom Cathy ripping it up out on the dance floor!

Brian & Kathryn - The Rancho Bernardo Inn

Another perfect reception at the Rancho Bernard Inn, thanks to Gloria and the team at RBI as well as our coordinator Ashlyn Carter with Carter and Cook Event Company. Brian and Kathryn entered the room to "Ain't nothing but a good time" by Poison and that set the tone for the night! The newlyweds first dance was "Faithfully" by Journey.
Entertainment At Large provided the up lighting and Brant Bender was the photographer.
The dance floor was packed all night and some of the crowd favorites were Magic - B.O.B., Born this way - Lady Ga Ga, Shake Ya Tailfeather - Nelly and Jessie's Girl - Rick Springfield.
Gourmet Mini Donuts from Sensational Treats were made fresh at the event for a late night snack...HUGE HIT!

I really enjoyed working with Brian and Kathryn, their main focus was a fun, stress free reception that they could just relax and enjoy. Mission Accomplished!

James & Natasha - The Lodge at Torrey Pines

You won't find a better venue than The Lodge at Torrey Pines. It is an amazing location with incredible views, food and service. It was perfect for James and Natasha's wedding celebration!
They also made a great choice in hiring Susanne Duffy with Crown Weddings as the coordinator, she put together a wonderful team and that always makes for a smooth night. Karen Tran did an incredible job with the florals, Bob with True Photography was the photographer and Side by Side took care of the video.
The couples first dance was to "Memories of Us" by Kieth Urban and the parents had a dance to "Your Song" by Elton John. Some other crowd favorites were I don't want to care right now - Lupe Fiasco, Born this way - Lady Gaga, You spin me round  - Dead or Alive and Give me everything - Pitbull.
The dinner portion of the evening was held in the Charles Reiffel room and then we moved into the Charles Fries room for the late night dancing. With the addition of a little white drape, uplighting and some lounge furniture Susanne gave it a nice contemporary club feel - it was perfect.
I love a happy bride - my best wishes to James and Natasha!!

Great job that night Mike....everything was PERFECT! Really enjoyed meeting and working with you. Your pictures are awesome too!
Thanks!
James
